Celina will play the Sanger Indians led by Division One QB Dane Evans.  Evans has almost 3000 yards passing on the season.  They are coming off a loss last week at the hands of District 9 AAA champion Argyle; however their biggest loss came with the injury to running back Brock Squier.  Evans will still have some weapons at his disposal, primarily leading receivers Dakota Cotton and Jon Garza.  These two have combined for 17 of Evan’s 33 TD passes on the year.

The game will be played Friday night November 11 in Denton at Denton H.S. stadium with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.  This is first of a possible 6 playoff games for the Bobcats.  If they get by the Indians they will likely face Lovejoy which eliminated the Bobcats last year.  The third round will likely pit the Bobcats against perennial powerhouse Henderson.  Of course you have to win the first one to get to the next one.  Anything can happen, but one thing for sure if the Bobcats will need all of their weapons firing to bring home their 9th State Championship.  The fans are an extremely important asset to the Bobcat arsenal so come to Denton this Friday night to support your Bobcats.  If you are unable to attend the game but want to follow the Bobcats on radio the game will be live on 93.1 with Pat Hunn and Jeff Gravley calling the action.  See you at the game.
